We’re looking for a passionate massage therapist or bodywork practitioner to share our space! There is a private room available in a shared studio with three Registered Massage Therapists and a personal trainer. You will be operating your own practice in a shared space with other caring practitioners. 

 

About Carlington Movement and Massage Collective 

 

Carlington Movement and Massage Collective houses a group of dedicated and passionate Registered Massage Therapists and Movement Coaches to offer realistic, personalised, and goal-oriented therapies. We work with individuals experiencing movement dysfunction, chronic pain, and injuries to optimise their day-to-day performance and well-being. 

 

Here at Carlington Movement and Massage, we foster a strong culture of curiosity, education, and collaboration. We work alongside our clients and colleagues to develop practical and constructive treatment plans. When we’re not with clients, you’ll often find us gathered in a treatment room to share and demonstrate techniques and skills with one another or working on some self-care in our movement studio. 

 

About the Room 

 

The room size is 11’x10.5’ and has 2 windows (one south facing and one east facing). The room is accessible to you 24/7. The room is available as of November 1, 2023. 

 

Included in the room rental: 

• Shared break room and reception space

• Internet Access 

• Linens (towels, sheets for massage tables, face cradles, flannels, etc.) 

• Massage lotion

• Booking software (Jane App)

• Daily (weekdays) garbage removal 

• Water and tea for yourself and clients 

 

About the Building 

 

The building is located at 1300 Carling Ave, Unit 306 - A great location and easily accessible by public transit. It’s right off the highway (between Kirkwood and Parkdale exit). There is plenty of free parking for both yourself and your clients. The building is managed by very responsive property managers, who take pride in the care of the space. The front and back doors to the building are locked overnight and on Sundays, but you will still be able to access the building with a key.
